About Me

Before starting a newspaper in high school, I had plans to enter a science-oriented career — pharmacy and biotechnology, if you can believe it. But after learning to edit and write stories, my heart and mind became forever welded to the written word.

I graduated from UCLA in 2024, where I worked as an assistant copy editor for the Daily Bruin. Since then, my early career has taken me from an internship at the San Francisco Chronicle to my current copy editing position at SFGATE.

When I'm not hunting down typos or mending thorny sentences, you can find me crocheting and knitting to the sound of cozy lo-fi tunes.
